Physiotherapy uses body-mind based techniques to help you gain better alignment, smoother movement, reduce or eliminate pain, and to feel more at ease within your body and mind. I no longer offer passive modalities - all my work requires active participation by the client. Occasionally treatment can include more traditional techniques such as massage, acupuncture, exercise prescription and movement retraining, but the majority of what I offer is focussed on the activation, exploration and experiencing of nervous system regulation and co-regulation.

Healing Arts

**Healing** is the process of returning to wholeness—not necessarily to how things were before, but to a deeper, truer alignment with yourself. **Healing** is the process of returning to wholeness—not necessarily to how things were before, but to a deeper, truer alignment with yourself. It’s not about erasing pain or pretending it didn’t happen, but integrating what you’ve been through in a way that transforms it. It often looks like reclaiming your energy, your voice, your sense of safety, and your capacity for relaxation, enjoyment and pleasure.

**Art** is the expression of truth through form. It’s when something inside—a feeling, a question, a memory, a vision, a thought —takes shape in the outer world. It’ss when something from the inside is expressed to the outside. What matters isn’t the medium but the transmission—something real is being communicated, often beyond what words alone can hold. Art invites connection: with yourself, with mystery. It doesn’t have to be beautiful or perfect—it just has to be alive.”

In this work, I guide you into, and walk with you in the frequency where your natural and innate healing happens by its own volition. I am there to support you in uncovering your own blocks and resistances to allowing your natural energy flow to restore you.

This kind of work is gradual process and for those who are open to a wider and deeper spectrum of energetic, emotional and spiritual healing modalities outside the scope of traditional physiotherapy.

Please note that you cannot use your extended health benefits for this option.

Please note the fee change to $160/session. For those of you with extended benefits, this is in line with standard rates for 60-90 minute sessions. There is option for alternative forms of payment (trades of goods or services) for those with genuine need. Please discuss with me in advance of your session.

I do not work with WCB or ICBC claims.

With humility and respect, I acknowledge that I live, work and play on the unceded territory of the Nuxalk people.

Sarah Stroh is a physiotherapist and healing arts practitioner based out of Bella Coola, British Columbia who uses a variety of modalities to help people reconnect with the wisdom, pleasure and power of the body. One of these modalities is Tension and Trauma Release Exercises (TRE®).

Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises

TRE® is an innovative series of exercises that assist the body in releasing deep muscular patterns of stress, tension and trauma. The exercises safely activate a natural reflex mechanism of shaking or vibrating that releases muscular tension and calms down the nervous system. When this muscular shaking/vibrating mechanism is activated in a safe and controlled environment, the body is encouraged to return back to a state of balance.

TRE is based on the fundamental idea that stress, tension and trauma are both psychological and physical. TRE®’s reflexive muscle vibrations generally feel pleasant and soothing. After doing TRE, many people report feelings of peace and well-being. TRE has helped many thousands of people globally.

TRE is designed to be a self-help tool that, once learned, can be used independently as needed throughout one’s life, thereby continuously supporting and promoting personal health and wellness.
